Class Description: Embrace the beauty of nature with this distinctive fine silver and UV resin pendant workshop. Capture the intricate textures of real leaves in fine silver, craft a uniquely detailed tree branch bail, and infuse your piece with luminous, transparent color that highlights the silver’s design. Complete your pendant with a sparkling gemstone or a vibrant dichroic glass cabochon for an eye-catching finishing touch.

In this class, you’ll explore advanced techniques such as working with both lump and syringe forms of metal clay, blending resin colors to create a glowing effect, and expertly setting stones. Learn essential firing and finishing skills to bring your creation to life. This workshop offers a perfect blend of organic inspiration and artistry, leaving you with a truly one-of-a-kind wearable masterpiece.

Project Completion: students will have enough class time to finish the project. 

Materials Included: Enough for one pendant (Fine silver metal clay (lump and syringe), UV Resin, UV Resin colorant, fine silver bezel cup, gemstone or dichroic glass cabochon, use of tools and shared consumables).

Required to bring:  

  • Magnifiers as needed.

All metal clay tools will be supplied by the instructor.
